In purchasing a course through online study, the student agrees that they have the capability to transmit and receive video and voice online conferencing through Zoom, Skype, or other platform as is agreed between ITEI and the student.
The student acknowledges the online course is interactive and that he/she must provide video and voice of themselves during the course instruction. In the event that a student is unable to access video and voice conference, the student must advise ITEI immediately and a session shall be cancelled and /or rescheduled at the sole discretion of ITEI. Penalty fees may apply.
ITEI will attempt to accommodate unexpected failures in electronic equipment or the internet that may occur due to no fault of the parties.
The student agrees to do NO RECORDING in whole or part any of the online or onsite courses. ITEI instructional material shared with the student's personal education only. Printed material of Powerpoint lectures or other ITEI teaching material may not be duplicated or distributed for any purpose.
The student consents to be included in photographs or images taken of him/her during events, training, or course work and that said photographs or images may be used by ITEI for teaching, marketing, or promotional purposes.
In keeping with ITEI professional standards, students are expected to schedule online classes in such a way that allows them to devote full attention to the instructor and to the course material. Please schedule your course work in such a time and place that you will have a distraction-free environment for yourself, your instructor, and/or fellow students.
ITEI expects all students to behave respectfully to all instructors as well as fellow students. We also ask that you treat your online course as a professional setting, demonstrating courtesy to your instructor and/or fellow students by attending your video course in modest and appropriate dress. Failure to comply with ITEI standards may result in the student being asked to leave the class and to contact the instructor to resolve the issue. Penalty fees may apply.
ITEI reserves all rights of admission and placement in the program. ITEI reserves the right of discretion in awarding of certifications based on student completion of material and assignments based on instructor assessment and satisfaction. ITEI reserves the right of dismissal for student refusal or inability to conform to ITEI standards. Those standards include but are not limited to 1) serious and respectful demeanor, 2) ITEI evaluation of student understanding and mastery of course material.
